On behalf of our members, I would like to extend an invitation to you and your company to become a Corporate Sponsor of the Spirit Warriors dragon boat team. Our team members are all Breast Cancer Survivors.
Dragon boating is demanding, exhilarating, and fun for survivors of any age, athletic ability, or paddling experience. Being members of the Spirit Warriors helps our physical, mental and emotional recovery by providing regular exercise, camaraderie, comfort, and information, and by rebuilding our fitness, strength and confidence.
Our dragon boat experience is helping our community by raising awareness of the benefits of exercise and fitness for cancer survivors, and showing our community that we can have full, rich, and fulfilling lives after cancer. This enables us to be strong role models for our daughters, and others with breast cancer, especially those newly diagnosed.
As a breast cancer survivor team, we compete in several dragon boat festivals during the season and participate in local fundraising and community events such as The Relay for Life, The Run for the Cure, and the Pink Ribbon Charity Ball to promote awareness and to raise funds for breast cancer research. We are all keenly aware that more research, plus living full and active lives are the best ways to stop cancer from overtaking our lives.
It is in this spirit that we are approaching your company for sponsorship. If assisting the Spirit Warriors is an option for you and your company, you can do so by sponsoring our participation in a specific competition, by assisting us with the purchase of team uniforms or equipment, or by making a monetary donation that we can use at our discretion. Please see the chart below detailing the benefits of sponsorship at different levels.
